Hot Springs

Today, we headed to the Hot Springs. It was quite a journey to get there. We took a boat to a island and hiked around 25-30 minutes on a boardwalk, so the hiking was very easy. But when we got to the island, we were greeted by wild dogs – wild in that no one owns them, they roam free, but they were friendly, and one in particular really liked Steven and stayed by his side.  Mimi usually walked in front to keep us moving faster, because without Mimi keeping us going, our pace usually became slower and slower. But one time, Mimi walked quietly ahead and hid behind this huge tree and jumped out right in front of us😨😨😨 and scared us!!! After that, we walked every steps carefully and we didn’t let Mimi out of our sites again, and if for any reason we couldn’t see her, we started looking behind every tree, because we thought Mimi would try and scare us again 😂😂😂

When I got in the hot springs, there was a lot of moss, and the sulphur in the water made it not so clear, so we walked down a bit further to find the best spot. The hot springs were quite small and there were a lot of people, so it was quite crowded, but after camping for a couple of days, it felt great to sit in a pool of hot water. It felt like we were having a big luxurious bath with a lot of people. ☺ ☺ It would have been more fun if there hadn’t been so many people, so we could have played around more rather than just sit in hot water.
